Job Summary:As a Picker, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and accurate picking, packing, and staging of heavy equipment and related components for delivery to customers. You will be responsible for operating warehouse equipment, including reach trucks, to safely maneuver and transport heavy equipment within the facility. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a warehouse environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize picking listsand/orelectronic inventory systems to locate and retrieve heavy equipment and components from designated storage areas.
• Inspect equipment for any damages or defectsprior topicking and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Safely operate reach trucks and other warehouse equipment to transport heavy equipment within the warehouse.
• Ensure all picked items are accurately scanned, labeled, and staged for shipment according to company procedures.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed, adhering to proper safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet daily picking goals.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment, preferably withexperiencepicking heavy equipment or similar items.
• Valid reach truck certification and demonstrated proficiency in operating reach trucks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when picking and packing items for shipment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems are a plus.
