The Controller will oversee the day-to-day accounting functions of DEZ Development LLC. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our financial data and supporting our financial decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage and improve our accounting systems.
Compensation:$31 - $38 hourly
Responsibilities:- Develop and oversee financial procedures and policies to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
- Manage financial audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to optimize financial performance
- Supervise accounting team and provide guidance on complex financial issues
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Experience in the real estate industry
- Proficiency with US Work Authorization laws
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
