Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAllegiance Crane & Equipment is seeking a Corporate Controller to add to our team at the headquarters office in the Clear Lake area, near NASA.  We are a growing business in the crane rental industry and are looking for strong team players that are self-motivated to succeed  

Essential Responsibilities 

• Developing and implementing financial policies
• Overseeing the accounting staff
• Ensuring compliance with financial and accounting regulations
• Leading audit preparation and completion
• Managing financial reports and documents, such as balance sheets and income statements
• Handling preparation for tax returns
• Performing financial risk assessments and doing internal audits
• Assisting with corporate financial decisions
• Supporting integration of business acquisitions

Seeking local candidates to the Clear Lake area only.  This position works in the office full-time.  
Minimum Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5+ years of business finance or other relevant experience
• CPA is required
• Competence with financial software and technology
• Understanding of financial and accounting standards and regulations
• Organizational and time management skills
• Leadership skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to prioritize duties
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and juggle multiple duties
