Baltimore Country Club was founded in 1898 and it was a success from the start, with 600 members enjoying its 150-acre facility less than five miles from downtown Baltimore. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN ASSISTANT BANQUET CHEF

The full-time Assistant Banquet Chef will have the responsibility of assisting in managing the Club's banquet kitchens. This individual will support the Banquet Chef with menu design and the timeliness and quality of the food products served to our Members and guests. Most importantly, the Assistant Banquet Chef will assist in training the culinary team, as well as direct and assist staff in the preparation, seasoning, expediting, and cooking.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate must have proven experience in successfully leading a culinary staff specifically with large-scale banquet events, and experience with upscale casual American cuisines and other cuisines common in the North Atlantic region. Candidates must also have a working knowledge of culinary math, ordering, and Microsoft Word and Excel. A culinary school graduate or equivalent industry experience is required.
