Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic System Planning: Play a pivotal role in the strategic planning for system enhancements, security, and scalability, especially focusing on how various software, hardware, and programs integrate and interact with our ERP system. Conduct risk assessments, identify system improvement opportunities, and implement disaster recovery protocols to ensure business continuity.

  • Software Development and Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in the selection, design, development, and deployment of software solutions, particularly focusing on how these solutions work within our ERP ecosystem. Manage the lifecycle of software projects from conception through delivery, ensuring they align with our business objectives and seamlessly integrate with our ERP system to optimize operations.

  • Complex Issue Resolution: Take charge of diagnosing and resolving intricate system, software, and hardware issues, particularly those affecting or involving our ERP system and its integration with other technologies. Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with vendors or consultants to deploy effective solutions.

  • Project Coordination and Training: Coordinate special projects related to system enhancements, with a keen focus on ERP integration and functionality, including the development of custom dashboards, reports, and analytics tools. Lead the development and execution of comprehensive staff training programs on our ERP system and related technologies, ensuring effective adoption across the team.

  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate deep expertise in managing and optimizing information systems, with a special emphasis on ERP systems and their integration with a wide array of software, hardware, and programs. Utilize exceptional communication skills to clearly articulate complex technical concepts and processes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Continuous Learning and Improvement: Stay at the forefront of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, with a special focus on ERP systems and their ecosystems. Champion the adoption of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the IT department and across the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience with the implementation, maintenance, and management of ERP systems and the oversight of the diverse IT infrastructure that interacts with them.
  • Proficiency in Unidata database environment, Microsoft SQL (including SSMS, SSRS, and PowerBI), with the ability to quickly learn and master new software and systems.
  • A strong foundation in networking concepts, problem-solving in source code, and drafting technical reports.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical team members effectively.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Programming, System Analysis, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in programming, database administration, and a thorough understanding of the technological and operational aspects of manufacturing, accounting, finance, and engineering systems as they relate to and integrate with ERP systems.
