Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing team in the construction industry? Westhill Paving, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Construction Laborer to join our energetic and forward-thinking organization in San Marcos, TX. That is why we offer a competitive pay rate of $18.50 to $21.00+ per hour for this position.

You will work Monday – Friday. Typically, your hours will be 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, but depending on the current projects, you may be asked to come in and finish up earlier. We try to maintain a minimum of 40 hours per week with minimal overtime.

Each shift will start at our office. From there, you'll take a company-provided vehicle to the designated job site. Job sites may vary day-to-day, but they will never be further than 90 minutes from our main office.

You'll receive great benefits, including a 401(k), paid time off, a $50 work clothes stipend each month, your phone bill paid if the position requires a phone, two bonuses every year, pay raises each year, weekly pay, and "wellness" bonuses after one year of employment ($50 per month after one year, $100 after two, $150 after three). Additionally, you will have access to a company vehicle for your commutes to our job sites. You'll be paid for your time at the office, driving, and at the job site

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

You will be involved in tasks such as raking asphalt, knocking down concrete forms, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials by picking up and hauling them to and from sites using our company-provided dump truck (non-CDL). This dynamic role will allow you to showcase your physical strength and agility while working alongside a skilled team. Your hard work and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional results to our clients while maintaining our commitment to safety and quality. Here's what you need to become our Construction Laborer:

  • Driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experiences in installing asphalt, setting forms for concrete, finishing concrete and operating heavy machinery (Skidsteer, Trackloader, Mini Excavator, Paving Machine, and Rolling Machines) are a bonus
