Imagine360 is currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician. This Pharmacy Technician assists the miCare Practice Manager and clinic staff with all functions related to the management and distribution of pharmaceuticals. The position will partner with an external Pharmacy Benefits vendor in their daily operations. The Pharmacy Technician will also support and help with day to day operational support of the miCare clinic.


Position Location: DeLand/Deltona, FL


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supports all prescription medication processes within the miCare clinic
  • Receives prescription orders
  • Creates prescriptions labels as directed by the external vendor or Practice Manager
  • Maintains an organized, clean and orderly medication area of the clinic and work environment
  • Responsible for tracking and keeping up to date the medication inventory logs; medications received from external vendor and medications distributed to patients.
  • Responsible for the receiving medication deliveries and providing basic medication information to patients; responsible for the unpacking and stocking of medication area of clinic as well.
  • Maintains accurate filing and record keeping for all medications
  • Supports other clinic operations processes and procedures as need to service the patient and collaborate with team members.
  • Answers incoming phone calls and logs appropriately
  • Provides timely and thorough follow up with management, staff, patients, internal and external customers.
  • Appropriately escalates difficult issues up the chain of command.
  • Acts as a role model in demonstrating the core values in customer service delivery
  • Serves on committees, work groups, and/or process improvement teams to assist in improving quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Recognizes and alerts appropriate member of the management team of trends that fall outside of quality parameters.
  • Performs self-quality monitoring in order to develop and execute plans to meet established goals.
  • Provides ongoing feedback to help optimize quality performance.
  • Collaborates with others to improve or streamline procedures and improve quality.
  • The employee will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties requested by his/her supervisor.

Education:

  • Graduate from pharmacy technician training program. Current and active Pharmacy Technician Certification.

Experience:

  • 1+ years' experience with demonstrated success in a pharmacy or clinic setting.
  • Retail Pharmaceutical experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated organizational skills, problem-solving, analytical skills and detail oriented
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Working knowledge of computers and software including but not limited to Microsoft Office products
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize workloads, multi-task and manage priorities in order to meet deadlines.

Licenses or Certifications:

  • Current and active Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • BLS Certification
