The Pre-K Teacher is responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. The teacher will create lesson plans, teach classes, and assess student progress. The teacher will also work with families to support their child's development.
Pre-K Teacher Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans for pre-k students
  • Instruct students in basic academic subjects, such as reading, math, science, and social studies
  • Observe and assess student performance and behavior
  • Maintain positive relationships with students and families
  • Communicate with parents about student progress and behavior
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
Objectives
  • Develop and implement lesson plans for pre-kindergarten students

  • Create a safe and stimulating learning environment for students
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians

Pre-K Teacher Job Skills & Qualifications Needed
  • The skills and qualifications needed for the role of PreK Teacher include a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field. Additionally, Pre-K Teachers should have experience working with young children, as well as strong communication and organizational skills.
