About OFFICIAL Driving School
With over 20 customer service representatives and 120 instructors, OFFICIAL Driving School is THE driving school that leads the charge in delivering truly professional, high quality experience for not only our customers, but also our employees.

Teaching driver ed should be the best job youve ever had Thats why we go the extra mile for our instructors so you can focus on whats truly important; Teaching our students to be safe and responsible drivers. Our headquarters is out of Royal Oak, but we have storefront and high school locations all across Michigan. We also offer remote teaching opportunities for online classes.

Were growing rapidly and thats because we have a focus on being the best instructors and working as a team to provide the best solutions in driver education. Its not just all on you Were in this together.

Do you have what it takes?
  • Must be 21 years or over
  • Have a clean driving record, no more than 4 points
  • Have had a driver's license for 5 years
  • Background Check
  • HS Diploma
  • Interest in mentoring, teaching, coaching
  • Great communication skills
  • Comfortable with technology
  • Enjoy working with kids
  • This is not a 9-5 job, Must be available for Evenings and Weekends, we ask all teachers work one weekend day a week, for 4 hours.
