Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur busy restaurant is looking for servers with a friendly smile and a cheerful customer service attitude to set the tone for our guests to enjoy their dining experience with us. You will serve our guests in the restaurant by ensuring that they are seated promptly, their orders are taken, prepared, and served timely, and that tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests. Our ideal candidate maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor toward our guests and coworkers while providing exceptional customer service to our guests. This position is ideal for you if you enjoy interacting with others and have a strong sense of responsibility. If this describes you, apply nowCompensation:

$10 - $20 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Actively engage in pre-shift and department meetings to get a thorough knowledge of all goods, services, and facility operations
  • Receive proper payment from the guest and ensure the accuracy of the guest check and method of payment to protect both the customer and the restaurant from transaction errors
  • Establish a full knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to respond to client inquiries and make recommendations
  • Promptly seat guests when they arrive, take food and beverage orders, serve meals on time while accommodating any special requests
  • Restock and clean as instructed, including side work for opening and closing of the restaurant
Qualifications:
  • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
  • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
  • Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills
  • We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
  • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
