We are seeking a reliable, organized Office Clerk to join our growing company. Our Office Clerk will be responsible for performing administrative tasks to support daily business operations. The ideal candidate should be efficient, friendly, and has a strong attention to detail.

Their duties include:

  • Responding to phone calls or emails
  • Maintaining an organized filing system
  • Restocking office supplies as needed
  • Typing documents
  • Filing
  • Liaising with caregivers/ clients
  • Familiarity with common office processes, including filing, handling mail and directing telephone calls
  • Computer literacy, including familiarity with common word processing, spreadsheet, database and basic accounting software
  • Accurate and efficient typing skills for data entry, taking minutes and dictations, answering emails and typing letters and other documents
  • Verbal communication for addressing other employees and other business contacts
  • Customer service for dealing with members of the public
  • Organization and ability to multitask
  • Attention to detail to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard, such as taking sufficiently detailed minutes and telephone messages
  • Integrity and discretion when working with sensitive employee and client details

Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an office clerk or other clerical position.
  • Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of office devices and processes.
  • A fast typist with knowledge in stenography and taking dictations.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High school diploma.
