Salary & Benefits:

  • $17/hour; 35-40 hrs per week; (1) employee meal provided each workday
  • Access to play #2 rated golf course in NC as an employee

Position Summary:

Position offers opportunity for employment in the beautiful mountains of western N.C., working in a professional, collaborative, accounting environment with experienced peers, while also delivering more variety and interaction than most public accounting jobs. This position serves as a resource and assistant for the Club's Accounting Department during the Club's peak work season (May – August).

  • This is an ideal position for a student who would like to receive some entry-level experience in a business environment and hone their attention to detail.
  • Outlined below are a few of the duties/responsibilities of this position:
  • Daily assistance in reconciling and reviewing sales reports
  • Frequent travel to the bank & other Club facilities
  • Accounting/Office tasks (copying, filing, assistance with mailings to membership, distribution of inter-company and membership mail)
  • Prepare account analyses for certain general ledger accounts


Hours/Schedule: May through August or dates that correspond with academic schedules

Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day (typically 8:30 am-4:30 pm)


Dress: Business casual
