JOB TITLE: Veterans Court Case Technician, Part-Time


SUPERVISIOR: CSCD Director


EXEMPT STATUS: Non-exempt


GENERAL DESCRIPTION


Assists Rockwall County in Veteran's Court related services. Complex case support for the Veteran caseload both felony and misdemeanors, as well as other delegated duties.


RESPONSIBILITY AND RELATED TASKS

Files and documents incoming mail including but not limited to treatment summaries, interlock reports, SCRAM reports, and urinalysis results.


Files and documents amended orders, travel permits and financial delinquencies correspondence.


Makes necessary changes or updates to case files.


Collects urinalysis testing.


Performs other job-related duties as assigned/needed by the Director or his delegate.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING


High School diploma or equivalent (GED). A criminal justice or military background is preferable but not required. Trained in general office machinery with proficiency using the computer and programs within.


Must possess a valid Texas driver license, provide proof of liability insurance, and a reliable motor vehicle.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES


Ability to work harmoniously with the administration and co-workers. Knowledge of time management techniques and self-motivational skills. Must have the willingness and ability to complete all assignments in a timely manner. Must possess the desire to perform job standards, including spontaneous assignments. An awareness of the job description, responsibilities, and boundaries is to be adhered to and maintained at all times. Must have the ability to deal with high stress situations and the physical ability to conduct all phases of the responsibilities and tasks.

SALARY:

$15/Hr
