Work Location: This position will be based at our BETHANY, MO location
Hours: 40 hours per week, including Saturday rotation
Job Purpose: Prepares loan documents for closing of consumer, agricultural, commercial and real estate loan products to ensure compliance and quality of loan documentation for funding.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicates with customer regarding various aspects of loan process.
- Performs financial institution loan services, loan payments and payoffs, loan advances, loan tracking, and daily loan reports.
- Processes credit life and disability insurance claims.
- Ensures that loan files contain documents with proper signatures, dates and other relevant data.
- Maintains new and paid loan files. Performs a variety of clerical duties requiring knowledge of departmental procedures. Uses office computers for data input and other activities.
- Provides administrative support to loan officers including updating loan data for entry into the financial institution’s computers.
- Carries out responsibilities with professionalism and respect for others in accordance with the Bank’s policies.
- Assists other departments on a temporary basis as needed during peak hours.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Six months to one year of experience in an office environment.
- Successful completion of in-house training program.
- Good understanding of financial institution products and services.
Working Conditions:
- This job operates in a normal office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Requirements:
- This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
