Frozen Ropes, a leading sports organization dedicated to promoting excellence in baseball and softball, is seeking a passionate and experienced Softball Director. As the Softball Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our softball programs, fostering player development, and maintaining our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:
  1. Program Development:
    • Develop and oversee all aspects of our softball programs, including group classes, camps, and private lessons.
    • Create a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with Frozen Ropes instructional philosophies.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and incorporate innovative coaching techniques.
  2. Player Development:
    • Provide high-quality instruction to players of all ages and skill levels.
    • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment.
    • Utilize video analysis tools to enhance player performance.
  3. Facility Management:
    • Collaborate with facility staff to ensure seamless operations.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of softball facilities, including playing fields, restrooms, and common areas.
    • Set up equipment and rental gear as needed.
  4. Coaching Responsibilities:
    • Assist the head coach during team practices, scrimmages, and games.
    • Offer input on team selection during tryouts.
    • Represent Frozen Ropes at regional AAU meetings.
  5. Tournament Participation:
    • Travel to weekend tournaments (expenses covered) to support our softball teams.
    • Adhere to Frozen Ropes travel team coaches guidelines.

Qualifications:
  • Passion for Softball: A genuine love for the game and a desire to inspire players.
  • Experience: Previous coaching or playing experience in softball.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage schedules, events, and resources effectively.
  • Excellent Communication: Clear communication with players, parents, and staff.
  • Flexible Schedule: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and select weekdays.
