Our painters perform a variety of tasks such as assembling scaffolding, surface preparation, sanding down old paint, filling in drywall holes, mixing paint colors, and painting homes and businesses. The ideal candidate should be comfortable talking with clients to understand their needs. Ideally, you have experience with a variety of paint surfaces and materials, and are comfortable using hand and power tools to get the job done. $100,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by filling holes and cracks with putty and sanding
• Cover trim, fixtures, furniture, and floors to protect them from paint
• Leave the work area clean once the project has been completed
• Meet with customers to understand what they want and make suggestions
• Treat painted surfaces with primer or sealer

Qualifications:

• We prefer candidates with 2 years work experience and a completed apprenticeship, but not required
• Knowledge of basic painting materials and tools is preferred, but we will provide training
• Physical strength, stamina to stand for long periods of time, and dexterity is required
• Driver’s license required
• Strong communication skills, time management skills and attention to detail
