Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Goddard School in Shawnee Kansas is a premier preschool for children from six weeks to six years of age. We are looking for an exceptional teacher to work with our students who are 3 - 12 months old. For this position, we are looking for someone with previous childcare experience with infant/toddler age students.

Teacher Responsibilities:


  • Interacts with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
  • Works well with co-teachers to implement classroom curriculum.
  • Communicates effectively with teachers, children and parents.
  • Participates in staff and training meetings.
  • Positive team player.
  • Able to complete the physical requirements of the position which include lifting children, sitting on the floor, and being able to move from a sitting position to standing position quickly.
