We are looking for a Shop Supervisor to join our team in Loveland, CO and will accept resumes until the position is filled.

This position handles all aspects of running a fabrication and assembly shop. We are looking for someone who wants to build and grow a high-performance shop in the Northern Colorado region and be a key member of an expanding company.

Core Duties & Responsibilities Include:

• Coordinating and directing daily tasks of shop personnel.
• Interviewing potential shop hires.
• Welding per AWS using GMAW, FCAW, GTAW processes.
• Running manual mills, lathes, rolls, forklifts.
• Ensuring jobs are completed on time.
• Confirming jobs meet customer requirements.
• Assembly of custom equipment to print.
• Testing of custom equipment to written plans.
• Maintaining a safe and clean shop.
• Conducting shop employee performance appraisals.
• Performing preventative maintenance.
• Assuring that shop employees are working to JFT policies & procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 5-10 years in fabrication or machine shop environments.
• Well versed in GMAW, FCAW, GTAW processes.
• Lead fabricator experience.
• This position may require the incumbent to work with export controlled items.
• US work authorization is required & JFT will not sponsor employment visas at this time.

JFT has an ISO 9001 quality assurance program and an established AWS welding program. We currently service both local customers as well as government customers across the US.
