Opus Packaging has a job opening for dependable CDL Class A Truck Drivers to safely transport products from production facility to customer locations, in a professional, and timely manner. Our Truck Drivers promote the company’s corporate vision, mission statement and core value. They ensure that the customer’s orders are handled according to the Quality Policy, safety procedures and within the guidelines of the Department of Transportation. Most routes are daily, allowing drivers to be home nightly. Opus Packaging is pleased to provide a competitive medical, vision, dental insurance package along with company paid life insurance for you and your family starting on your first day of employment. We also offer 401k, PTO, production bonus, safety bonus program, $1,500 New Hire Bonus at 90 day, 180 day and 1 year of employment and safety shoe reimbursement.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process customer orders to achieve corporate goals.
  • Operate distribution services in compliance with procedures and standards.
  • Obtain cross-functional abilities within the manufacturing/shipping environment.
  • Coordinates production activities with purchasing, maintenance and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines and equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Drivers must have a valid Class A CDL license for interstate commerce.
  • Must have 2 full years driving experience with a Class A CDL or equivalent military driving experience.
  • We are an interstate carrier, by law you must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Candidates must have a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are required
  • This position must pass a post-offer background, DOT physical, and drug test.
