We are looking for a qualified, experienced, and talented Estimator for the Canton location of Heritage Collision.


The expected total take home pay for this role is something like $95-130k or so annually.Commission and performance Bonuses are a significant portion of the compensation package here, as is pretty standard in any Body Shop. This role receives both Monthly and Annual bonuses based on individual and shop performance.


If you take on this job, we'll first and foremost expect you to own:

  • Evaluation and Estimation of all incoming vehicles
  • Use CCC One Estimating software and your own industry knowledge & experience to accurately estimate repair costs upon examination of incoming vehicles
  • Labor Estimation
  • Parts & materials Estimation
  • Repair vs Replacement decisions
  • If not experienced with CCC One, at least experienced with an automotive estimating software
  • Experience communicating with Insurance reps and that whole process - collecting and verifying insurance information from customers
  • Insurance form preparation and submission
  • Parts: researching prices and options, coming up with creative but acceptable solutions


We're looking for someone who has at least 3 years of full-time, professional experience in a body shop.We expect you to have the following personal characteristics as well:

  • Able to work in and maintain a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled with Customer Service - communicating with customers both verbally and in written communication in a way that leaves our customers feeling heard, seen, and delighted to have been served by us

This shop is located in Canton, and has about 15-20 team members working there each day.


Our facility is much nicer than your average body shop.We have AC running in the summer, new and high quality tools and equipment, and a well run, professional operation.This is a far better place to work than most body shops out there.

We also have another location, in Ann Arbor, and another location opening soon, with continued growth planned.There is plenty of room for upward mobility here for those who aspire to build a career and continue to take on increased responsibilities over time

This job is strictly Monday through Friday, so no weekends required.Most of our techs work 8 hour shifts.The start and end times are a bit flexible, we have both early morning and later evening needs, so we are open to discussion on what hours fit your schedule best.
