Full-Time Project Managers needed for a rapidly expanding Construction Business in Ft Myers, FL.

TYPE OF POSITION: Full-Time, On-the-Jobsite, Project Management Position

ANNUAL INCOME: DOE (Depends On Experience), Starting salary $65,000, Paid Weekly via Direct Deposit, Benefits eligible after 90 Days

JOB LOCATION: Multiple Job Sites and Locations Daily throughout SWFL, plus our Outdoor Yards located in Fort Myers, FL.


REQUIREMENTS:  Previous Proven Successful Management Experience, 25 Years of Age or Older with a Clean Driving Record; Solution–Oriented with an Ability to Pivot Quickly in a Rapidly Changing Environment; Ability to Manage Multiple jobsites at the same time; Ability to Work Outdoors for Long Hours in the heat & sun; Drug & Tobacco-Free; Fluent English ~ Bilingual Spanish is a plus, but not required

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL:

  • Be able and willing to work a flexible schedule that may require long days in the sun and heat in a demanding management role
  • Be able to follow directions the first time and possess commonsense to solve problems or be willing to ask for help to resolve issues as they arise
  • Work well within a team environment while effectively directing and supervising multiple crews on multiple jobsites and at our outdoor yard
  • Be able to or be willing to learn how to safely operate different versions of Construction Forklifts, and safely load equipment and material, as well as secure it properly, onto trailers for transport.
  • Be willing and able to climb a ladder and supervise and direct team members on a roof as needed
  • Have a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to work to meet deadlines and quotas while problem-solving as needed
  • Have a valid CDL Class A Commercial Driver's License so you are able to drive a variety of our trucks to make travel to jobsites and our team more efficient
  • Be willing and able to direct or perform yard activities as needed (moving material, loading and unloading trucks, labeling and keeping an inventory of material, etc.) using a forklift
  • Be willing to join our company apps and Life360 app group on your smartphone (iPhone preferred).

  • Be a solution-orientated, self-motivated, team-player who takes pride in your work and always puts safety first. 
  • Have a high commitment to work, a willingness to learn, and proven tenure in previous management roles that have required attention to detail and the ability to pivot quickly in a rapidly changing environment
  • Be dependable with a stable work history, have exceptional communication and organizational skills, and be computer literate with the ability to help plan and manage multiple projects and crews using computer-based scheduling
  • Consider communication the key to team success, have a smartphone (iPhone preferred), and possess excellent verbal and texting skills in English, both verbal and written (Bi-lingual Spanish is a Plus)
  • Be willing to manage team members over multiple crews (including management by example) to keep jobsites and yards safe, clean, and efficient at all times by managing to the strictest of safe work practices and procedures
  • Be at least 25 years of age with a proven ability to lead and a clean driving record to be added to our company's commercial auto insurance policy
  • Be Drug & Tobacco-Free and successfully complete/pass required random Drug Screenings
