Job Description: Teletherapist
Are you a compassionate and skilled therapist interested in providing remote counseling services? Join our team at Wings of the Future as a Teletherapist and contribute to improving the mental health and well-being of our clients. In this role, you will deliver teletherapy services using video conferencing platforms, offering support and guidance to individuals seeking counseling and therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct teletherapy sessions with clients using secure video conferencing technology.
- Assess clients' mental health concerns, emotional issues, and goals for therapy.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clients' needs and objectives.
- Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions to address a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties.
- Collaborate with clients to set achievable goals and monitor progress throughout therapy sessions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and community resources as needed for comprehensive treatment.
- Stay informed about best practices and evidence-based approaches in teletherapy and mental health counseling.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- Licensed or Registered with BBS as a therapist or counselor (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in the state where services will be provided.
- Previous experience in providing counseling or therapy services, preferably in a teletherapy or virtual setting.
- Proficient in using technology for remote communication and comfortable with video conferencing platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and trust with clients remotely.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client interactions and documentation.
- Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality in all aspects of client care.
