Looking for expeditors with Tuesday-Saturday availability to hire ASAP. This is a part-time hourly position starting at $18.75/hour during the probationary training period, then $19.75/hour + tips once off training. Potential to be paid up to $20/hour + tips depending on performance and full availability.
Expeditors must be clear, loud and not get frazzled easily. We operate a very large kitchen and expeditors are expected to handle 20+ tickets at a time including large parties.
Expos and food runners are the last line of defense. Attention to food detail, plate presentation and quality are all required. Training with our Executive Chef will be provided if hired.

- Previous expediting experience preferred.
- Act as the liaison between the cooks and Front of House team to effectively communicate all information during service, including standard order information, dietary restrictions, any special guest requests, and to ensure ample supply of clean plateware and serviceware.
- Must be able to handle large ticket volumes.
- Direct a team of 1-4 food runners to maintain kitchen organization and cleanliness throughout service.
- Verify the quality, quantity, and presentation of each dish leaving the kitchen. (Again, the expo is the last line of defense)
- Follow safety and emergency procedures to safeguard staff, guests, and property.
- Exhibit courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with guests and staff.
- Quick thinking, eye for quality and a LOUD, clearly audible voice are necessary to do this position. Must be able to remain level-headed, think clearly, maintain concentration, and act quickly during peak rushes and intense situations.
- Attend required meetings.
- Performs other duties assigned by supervisors and managers.
- Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
- Must be able to move, pull, or lift at least 35 pounds.
