Prodigy Cabinetry is a leading manufacturer of high-quality cabinetry solutions, committed to excellence in design, craftsmanship, and customer service. We are expanding our team and seeking a dedicated Shipping Lead to join us in delivering top-notch products to our valued customers.

Position Overview: The Shipping Lead will oversee and manage all shipping operations at our Greenville facility. This role is critical in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of our products, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the shipping department.
  • Ensure all orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped according to schedule.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring proper handling of products.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and conduct regular stock checks.
  • Coordinate with the production and customer service teams to manage shipping priorities.
  • Train and manage shipping staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any shipping-related issues or discrepancies.
  • Implement and improve shipping processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to shipping operations.
Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelors degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a shipping or warehouse leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping and logistics processes and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Proficient in using shipping software and warehouse management systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to consistently lift and move heavy objects, and work in a physically demanding environment.
