This is perfect for someone who wants to help students in the very beginning of their medical journey. We are the first step a student takes who want to enter the medical field.

(Since this is an instructor position at a small allied health school we cannot offer the same hourly rate as a an RN working in a medical facility - this is strictly an instructor position in a mom and pop environment)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing health care training to students while adhering to BPSS standards. New York's Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision (BPSS) oversees and monitors non-degree granting proprietary schools in New York. The Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision is part of the New York State Education Department.

We need to stress that you will NOT be performing any nursing skills with patients - you are the instructor in a licensed Educational Facility.

Monday - Thursday 6p-9p

We are looking for an RN to join our team as a Nurse Aide instructor.

Responsibilities

· Teach the approved BPSS curriculum in one of the following course subject: Nurse Aide

(The entire course is outlined - all you have to do it put your spin on the lessons so long as you teach the main material we have laid out as a blueprint)

· Keep immaculate records for each student

· Work hand in hand with the Director of Education and Student Services

· Provide compassionate education and understand not every student is at the same learning level

Qualifications:

· Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with a Current License

· Must have at least 2 year’s experience

· Must have patience and work well with people

· Be open to picking up teaching shifts (if necessary)

· Must have a NY BPSS Teachers License (If you do not have one you will be required to get one - which we will help you get)

· Team player
