Community Manager

Valley Estates of Mabelvale is seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee our apartment community in Mabelvale, AR. If you have a proven track record in property management, strong leasing and renewal rates, and exceptional customer service skills, we want to hear from you

Responsibilities:

• Market and lease available apartments in full compliance with fair housing laws.
• Provide a high level of customer service and connect with residents.
• Collect and deposit rent, late fees, and deposits using Onesite software.
• Screen and qualify prospective residents.
• Bid and negotiate service contracts, procure building supplies, manage maintenance staff, and vendor relationships.
• Respond to resident requests or complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
• Ensure completion of maintenance and repairs, oversee general cleaning of the building and grounds.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years of multi-family property management experience and one year of management experience.
• LIHTC experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office and property management software skills, OneSite experience preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to empathize with residents and staff while enforcing community rules and policies.
• Strong communication ability, both verbally and in writing.
