Position – Label Packaging Operator

Job Location – Germantown, WI

Starting Date – Immediate

Employment Term – Temp-to-Hire, Direct Hire

Employment Type – Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd Shift 12:45-10:45 M-Th 4 Day Work Week 3 Day Weekends

Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $18-19 per hour

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience

Position Overview

 

Reporting to the Business Unit Line Lead, the Label Packaging Operator 1 is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the high speed packaging equipment including the Palletizer and De-palletizer and all effected production equipment. This individual will work as part of a team and ensure a team environment is supported. The Label Packaging Operator 1 will have and gain knowledge and experience in the Palletizing and De-palletizing process. Additional responsibilities may include staff training and providing assistance to Team Line Leads and Supervisors as necessary to meet the organization’s operational needs.

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

• 1-3 years of high speed Food Manufacturing, Packaging or Assembly line production experience is preferred

• Demonstrated organizational, detail orientation and observational skills

• Basic mathematical calculation skills

• Requires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees.

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, multi-tasking and often with limited supervision

• Requires a basic understanding of GMPS’, HACCP and SQF guidelines.

• Requires a good mechanical aptitude to relate to and understand the equipment.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations by promoting and maintaining an inclusive work environment and culture that is respectful and accepting of diversity

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

• High School or Equivalent Diploma

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude

• Proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and related software, ideally Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Wor
