We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Formosa Food Co. located in Hull, IA 51239. Formosa Food is the #1 manufacturer of its product in the U.S. today. We specialize in a Taiwanese-style shredded dried pork, Taiwanese-style jerky, and sausage.

Responsibilities
  • Performing regular maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Repair and replace faulty components, such as motors, belts, pumps, and sensors.
  • Utilize pipefitting skills to repair and maintain plumbing systems.
  • Assist with HVAC, heating, and cooling system maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrate electrical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and maintain industrial automation equipment.
  • Proficient in pipefitting skills to handle plumbing repairs and maintenance.
  • Experience with HVAC systems and the ability to perform basic maintenance tasks.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.
  • Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to learn and work together.
