Soltesz is currently seeking a highly motivated Land Survey Technician to support land surveying operations in our Waldorf, MD office. The Land Survey Technician will perform a broad range of duties including preparing various survey plan documents (i.e. topographic mapping, boundary and ALTA surveys, as-built surveys, platting, construction layouts, metes and bounds descriptions, easements exhibits and legal descriptions). Also, may be responsible for communicating with clients, local and municipal authorities. This position is primarily for working within an office environment, and not a field survey position.

Qualifications:

5+ years progressive experience in survey coordination for residential/commercial development preferred.

Experience in surveying in Maryland preferred, but not required.

Proficiency in CADD drafting is required; Knowledge of MicroStation or Bentley CADD software is preferred.

General knowledge of current public agency codes, processes, and standards

Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written

Must have ability to work in a team environment.

Registered Land Surveyor in the State of Maryland preferred, but not required.
