Job DescriptionJob Description

The Hospice Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the clinical staff of a hospice care facility. The supervisor will provide guidance, support, and direction to the clinical team, ensuring that all patients receive high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and supervise all clinical staff, including nurses, aides, and therapists

- Develop and implement policies and procedures for clinical operations

- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and standards

- Monitor patient care and make recommendations for improvements

- Oversee the assessment and planning of patient care

- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed

- Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, including physicians and social workers

- Provide education and training to staff on new procedures and protocols

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives

- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

- Ensure staff compliance with all safety and infection control policies

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field

- Current state nursing license

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospice care

- Previous supervisory or management experience

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing hospice care

- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
