JOB OVERVIEW

Framing carpenters construct or repair the framework of all Heritage build Homes. They determine the dimensions of the framework to be constructed, measure, and cut the required building materials accordingly, and assemble the materials to form the framework.

JOB OBJECTIVE

To maximize the efficiency of each framing job to get the project done on time with limited waste.

PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS

1. Accurately measuring, cutting, and shaping lumber, wood, and other building materials.

2. Attaching building materials using screws, nuts, and bolts.

3. Erecting temporary structures such as scaffolds and hoists.

4. Performing repairs on existing framework structures that are damaged or structurally unsound.

5. Analyzing blueprints and drawings to determine the structural dimensions of the framework to be constructed.

6. Work with company machinery such as lifts and booms in a safe manner.

7. Analyzing construction plans to identify potential structural problems.

8. Examining building materials to identify any defects.

9. Performing cleanups of job sites by clearing away all carpentry debris and waste.

10. Responsible to follow all Heritage Homes and OSHA guidelines at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

  • Relevant: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Handyman: 3 years (Preferred)
