Purpose:

  • To oversee the audits of process and products within the department to which they are assigned. This includes control plan audits and the verification of data taken on a daily basis to verify that process controls are being utilized


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred


Knowledge:

  • Business Writing
  • General Computer Operation
  • Manufacturing Concepts
  • High School Diploma
  • Proficient in computer operation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications preferred
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Planning and organizational skills


Main Tasks:

  • Interface with quality engineering functions to secure documentation needed for successful audits
  • Daily process audits designed to verify the process controls in use are being utilized and functioning
  • Process Audits
  • Ensure specifications are met according to the Control Plan in assigned area
  • Create and Follow up on Quality Alerts
  • Assist with Containment when defects occur
  • Download reading into the color care software
  • Advise the color harmony team when the readings are out of tolerance
  • Responsible for measuring orange peel and gloss using the Wave scan and Gloss meters
  • Assist the Color Technicians when needed
  • Perform related office and clerical functions such as, data entry and filing.
