Syler Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team in the friendly town of Athens, TX. Our clinic, co-owned by Dr. Syler and Associated Veterinary Partners, is known for providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets in our community.

As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in our clinic's success. You will work closely with our Veterinarian, Hospital Staff, and our Hospital Manager to support our team and deliver exceptional veterinary care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with clinical procedures and surgeries.
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarians.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with radiographs.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all necessary information is documented.
  • Educate clients on pet health and wellness, including preventative care and post-treatment care.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinic environment.
  • Provide compassionate care to all pets and communicate effectively with their owners.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
