Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of alternative investment opportunities, including private equity, hedge funds, real estate, venture capital, and other non-traditional assets.

  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate potential investments, including forecasting returns, assessing risk, and analyzing performance metrics.

  • Perform due diligence on investment targets, including financial statement analysis, market research, and competitive assessments.

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of alternative investment portfolios, including tracking returns, risk exposure, and adherence to investment strategies.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of portfolio allocation strategies to optimize performance and manage risk.

  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on portfolio performance, market trends, and investment opportunities for senior management and stakeholders.

  • Conduct research on market trends, industry developments, and economic factors affecting alternative investments.

  • Analyze industry reports, investor surveys, and market data to identify investment opportunities and evaluate market conditions.

  • Stay informed about emerging trends, regulatory changes, and new investment products in the alternative investment space.

  • Assist in the due diligence process for new investments, including assessing legal, financial, and operational aspects of investment opportunities.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and investment guidelines.

  • Maintain accurate records of investment analysis, due diligence findings, and portfolio performance.

  • Communicate investment recommendations, findings, and performance reports to clients, senior management, and other stakeholders.

  • Address inquiries and provide information on alternative investment opportunities, strategies, and market conditions.

  • Collaborate with external managers, advisors, and other professionals to support investment activities and decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
  • Proven experience in alternative investments, financial analysis, or investment management.
  • Strong understanding of alternative asset classes, including private equity, hedge funds, real estate, and venture capital.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment research.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in financial software, Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical tools.
