ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN



Clean Air Engineering, Inc. conducts thermal and hydraulic performance, emissions, and consulting projects on a world-wide basis. CleanAir provides turnkey independent testing, consulting, instrumentation rental, and custom equipment manufacturing.


Electronics Technician Description:


In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of precision test equipment in the CleanAir calibration lab in Powell TN. You will be working with a small team of engineers to ensure the reliability and efficiency of field equipment and will travel to client sites to support field projects as needed.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform equipment-related maintenance and calibration activities as directed to ensure test equipment is safe, functional, and meets internal and client expectations for accuracy and timeliness.

  • Safety knowledge, awareness, and compliance with all safety and other job related policies

  • Assembling, installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic components and systems.

  • Sourcing or fabricating replacement parts for electronic systems.

  • Interpreting and authoring drawings, training manuals, and instructions to perform duties.

  • Following written, verbal, and telephonic instructions.

  • Ship/Pack/Track domestic and international project shipments.

  • Domestic and international travel will be required.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.



Education and Experience:

  • Associate of Science degree with 2 years or High School diploma with 4 years of relevant experience in electronics and calibration

  • Works well with basic machinery such as hand tools, wire crimpers and strippers, soldering iron, and test and measuring equipment.

  • Experience with electrical assembly, understanding of diagrams, and drawings.

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products

  • Ability to lift 50lbs

  • Passion for electronics

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Occasional weekend work will be required.
