Pay: $29.38 - $37.34

Schedule: Monday - Friday (Flexible 8-hour day)

Location: Marion County, Polk County, and Yamhill County

General Position Summary


The Fostering Hope Initiative (FHI) Program Supervisor, in collaboration with the FHI Director and FHI COO, provides leadership, direction, and oversight of the FHI Community Health Workers and coordinates outreach as well as high leverage activities in collaboration with the CHW team. This position is actively engaged in aligning projects and resources within FHI, including engaging in collaborative efforts with partners to explore, define and implement evidence-based support designed to achieve specific outcomes of Collective Impact.

Minimum Requirements


1. Bachelor’s degree in human services, management and organizational leadership/behavior, education, psychology related field.

2. Reliable transportation, valid Oregon driver’s license (or the ability to obtain a valid Oregon driver’s license within 30 days of hire) with a driving record that permits coverage under the agency’s corporate auto liability policy and personal automobile liability insurance.


Preferred Qualifications

1. Three years’ experience in supervision of staff and programs.

2. Bilingual, English/Spanish.


Supervisory Responsibility

3. Identify and access family support services and programs.

4. Practice quality improvement principles, practices, and problem-solving techniques.

6. Address public relations and community engagement situations appropriately.

7. Develop community collaborations and maintain working relationships with local and state agencies.

9. Manage multiple and detailed tasks while prioritizing and managing any established deadlines.

10. Work independently and as part of a team.

11. Develop new projects.

12. Guide, analyze and resolve problems and complex issues in a professional manner and with sound judgment.

13. Adhere to and review budgets.

14. Effectively communicate orally, in writing and speak before public groups.

15. Mentor and train staff and volunteers.

16. Train and model Sanctuary and We Flourish Together skills.

17. Maintain Confidentiality


Essential Position Functions and Key Work Processes


1. Provide direct supervision to the Fostering Hope Initiative Program.

2. Hire, train, supervise and support assigned program staff.

3. Oversee the daily operation of Community Health Services including program grants, contracts and compliance, program integrity, goals and outcomes, family, stakeholder and employee satisfaction, and ensure the quality, accessibility, and financial health of the programs.

4. Oversee the assigned program area budgets, monitor and adjust expenses, and ensure that expenses are reasonable and allowable.

5. Participate in partnerships with a variety of community organizations.

6. Provides and/or identifies resources for training and supporting CHW team.

7. Provide leadership and professional assistance in evaluating the needs of the community.

8. Participate in professional learning opportunities.

9. Serve on the FHI Leadership Team and the CCS Leadership Team.

10. Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.

11. Ensure data collection, analysis and reporting relative to program planning, implementation, and outcomes evaluation.

12. Ensure program desired outcomes are met in accordance with CCS Futures Plan.

13. Work in partnership with the Quality Department to collect data.

14. Provide a stimulating environment where professional learning communities support, enrich and challenge staff.

15. Use, model and promote the use of trauma-informed care inside of the assigned programs.

16. Other duties as assigned by the FHI Program Director and FHI COO.
