This position is responsible for performing professional nail, hand and foot treatments.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Discuss nail services and treatments with clients
  • Remove and apply a neat nail polish
  • Exfoliate and remove rough skin from hands and feet
  • Clean and trim nails
  • Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to Bella Santé spa standards by performing prep work and properly clean and restock the area as required and complete Star duty when assigned.
  • Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
  • Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
  • Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
  • Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
  • Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training guests in these areas.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Be on time for your shift.
  • Possess ability to work without direct supervision and contribute to a culture of peer accountability.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and uphold company core values and Bella Santé commitment.
  • Attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
  • Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

This position must hold and maintain a current Massachusetts state license..

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • If an offer is made, employment may be contingent upon the successful completion of a CORI check.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of nails, including a basic knowledge of hand and foot massage techniques.
  • Must possess a neat application of polish.
  • Capacity and commitment to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide and to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Possess ability to work without direct supervision and contribute to a culture of peer accountability.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task.
  • Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the spa.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, as well as basic computer knowledge.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Sit for long periods of time.
  • Repeat same movements.
  • Use their hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • Use fingers to grasp, move or assemble very small objects.
  • Use one or two hands to grasp, move or assemble objects.
TRAVEL:

Local travel to meetings and training may be required.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

Performance will be discussed with the Spa Director on a regular basis
