Peachtree Prep is a part of the Peachtree Academy K-12 private school system. The ideal candidate for this position will serve as a teacher in an early childhood classroom. Duties
- Reinforce lessons and classroom procedures implemented by the lead teacher
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to plan and develop age-appropriate lessons and activities
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
- Ability to accurately document communication to parents, staff, and members of the administration team
- Organizing and maintaining a classroom environment that reinforces classroom management and a positive learning environment
- Keeping parents informed of their child's progress using Procare Connect software
Requirements
- Flexible and a team player that assists in maintaining and creating a positive work environment
- Knowledge of development and behavior patterns of young children
- Previous experience working with young children or enrolled in an early childhood education program
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations
- Pursing an education in Early Childhood Education
- CPR/First Aid Certified
- Child Development Associate (CDA) or Technical Child Certificate (TCC)
