Summary

Peachtree Prep is a part of the Peachtree Academy K-12 private school system. The ideal candidate for this position will serve as a teacher in an early childhood classroom. We are looking for a mature superstar who enjoys working with children to provide a safe and nurturing environment for great students with supportive parents Other preschool experience is a plus and future opportunities for growth are available. Duties

  • Reinforce lessons and classroom procedures implemented by the lead teacher
  • Collaborate with the lead teacher to plan and develop age-appropriate lessons and activities
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Ability to accurately document communication to parents, staff, and members of the administration team
  • Organizing and maintaining a classroom environment that reinforces classroom management and a positive learning environment
  • Keeping parents informed of their child's progress using Procare Connect software


Requirements

  • Flexible and a team player that assists in maintaining and creating a positive work environment
  • Knowledge of development and behavior patterns of young children
  • Previous experience working with young children or enrolled in an early childhood education program


Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations
  • Pursing an education in Early Childhood Education
  • CPR/First Aid Certified
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) or Technical Child Certificate (TCC)
