Engineering CAD Drafts Person Job Description:

Description: A full time drafting position in the engineering department. Baja Construction designs, supplies and installs many different models of carports, RV Covers, enclosed and mini structures ports, RV Covers, and solar support structures supporting photovoltaic solar panels/systems.

The Draftsperson will provide drafting support for the engineering department including;

  • Carport, Solar, and RV layout in support of the estimating department and the engineering department.
  • Drafting and detailing support for the design engineers
  • Drafting support for Pre-Construction and Field activities
  • Structural Drafting

Requirement;

  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD (latest version)
  • Proficient in the use of Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, Microsoft Teams
  • Knowledge of google docs is not required but a plus
  • Takes direction and works with others well
  • Reliable

Salary;

Commensurate with experience

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
