Position Summary: The Program Analyst is responsible for conducting a variety of analytical activities aimed at supporting programs and initiatives related to the organization's mission. This role involves collecting, gathering, aggregating, organizing, validating, cleaning, analyzing, interpreting, processing, and reporting on qualitative and quantitative data sets. The Program Analyst provides critical analytical support to stakeholders, leveraging statistical methods, modeling, and data analysis to inform decision-making and optimize program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess program needs, define objectives, and develop analytical approaches.
  • Utilize quantitative and qualitative statistical methods to describe, analyze, synthesize, and interpret program-related datasets.
  • Collect, code, clean, and organize data from various sources to support program evaluation and reporting.
  • Produce reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate program performance and insights to stakeholders.
  • Review and assess program data for accuracy, completeness, and integrity, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Conduct risk analysis and impact assessments based on program data to support decision-making.
  • Support the development and implementation of program metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on program data analytics and contribute to the improvement of data collection and analysis processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of program goals with organizational objectives.
  • Maintain documentation and records related to program data, analysis, and reporting activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in program analysis, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting techniques.
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SAS, R).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in government, healthcare, nonprofit, or research organizations.
  • Knowledge of program evaluation methodologies and performance measurement frameworks.
