Position: Lodge Houseperson

Wage: 16.25/hr.

POSITION SUMMARY:  Responsible for the cleaning and stocking needs of guest rooms in assigned area(s) of the Hotel or Lodge.

DUTIES:    

• Dusts, sweeps, mops, scrubs, vacuums, and cleans assigned areas of the Hotel.
• Scrubs, waxes and strips floors as assigned.
• Sweeps stairwells, parking lot, and attends to other special projects as requested.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture and draperies as needed.
• Empties wastebaskets, empties and cleans ashtrays.
• Transports trash and dirty linen to designated areas.
• Assists in the minor maintenance of guestrooms and public areas of the Hotel such as:  changing light bulbs, unplugging toilets, etc. and report problems that need further attention to the Housekeeping Shift Supervisor.
• Responds promptly to a Guest’s request (i.e., delivering blow dryers, irons and ironing boards, rollaway beds, extra towels, etc.).
• Pack amenities for Guest rooms into caddies and delivers same to all floors of the Hotel.
• Stocks and maintains linen and supply rooms.
• Properly tags lost and found items and delivers them to the Housekeeping Shift Supervisor for storage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.     Be at least 18 years of age.

2.     Demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S.

3.     Participate and pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.

4.     Able to communicate and interact with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management in a professional and courteous manner.

A    Available to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary.
