Location-Type: Remote, PST
Start Date Is: 6/27/2024
Duration: 7 month contract
Compensation Range: $17-$24/hr
Summary: The client is seeking a Community and Account Manager to join their Creators organization. This role involves interacting with and lightly managing influencers to support the client's growing influencer community. The ideal candidate will have experience in community management and/or account management, with a strong understanding of social media best practices.
Must-Haves:
- 0-1 years of community management or account management experience.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Thorough understanding of social media and community management best practices.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience communicating to both customers and senior management.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, respond flexibly to changes, and produce results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong bias for action and ability to prioritize effectively.
- Ability to successfully utilize social media.
- Ability to generate and follow processes.
- Professional communication skills with external parties.
Nice-to-Haves:
- 1-2 years of experience managing a social media presence, an online marketing strategy, or an online community.
- Strong copywriting abilities and sound editorial judgment.
- Strong influence management skills to influence business and technology teams without direct authority.
Typical Day in the Role:
- Daily Schedule & OT Expectations: Standard working hours with occasional overtime based on project needs.
- Typical Task Breakdown & Rhythm: Interacting with influencers via Instagram DMs, responding to creator questions, and making content recommendations.
- Interaction Level with Team: High level of interaction with the team and influencers.
- Work Environment Description: Flexible with options for remote work.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Community Management: Interact with influencers via Instagram DMs, fostering relationships and engagement within the community.
- Account Management: Respond to creator questions, provide support, and make content recommendations to help creators succeed.
Candidate Requirements:
- Leadership Principle: Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and influence without direct authority.
- Years of Experience Required: 0-1 years.
- Degrees or Certifications Required: Bachelor's degree.
- Disqualifiers: Lack of understanding of social media best practices or poor communication skills.
- Best vs. Average Performance Indicators: The best candidates will have strong communication skills, the ability to manage social media processes effectively, and a proactive approach to community and account management.
