We have an immediate opening for a Laundry Hauler to join our Housekeeping Department.

Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager, this position assists in the hauling of soiled and clean linens on a daily basis from our laundry facility to our lodge and cabins.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Essential Functions:

• Collect soiled linens from guest rooms and cabins
• Haul soiled linens to our laundry facility and clean linens to our lodge and cabins
• Sorts linen for rooms, food & beverage, golf, recreation
• Loads soiled linen into washer and washes according to procedures.
• Loads dryer and dry clean linen according to standards.
• Knows the operating unction of the laundry machines.
• Removes lint from dryer lint traps once daily.
• Runs clean linen though ironer.
• Folds towels and other bath linens by hand.
• Places folded linen on marked shelves and loads housekeeping buggies for aides.
• Ensures certain washers are in use before taking breaks to augment efficiency.
• Assists Aides, Room Attendant and Public Space Attendants when needed.
• Must be able to lift 80 lbs and push a laundry cart up hill
