Inventory Specialist
Position Summary:
This is full time permanent position has been created to assist the corporate Inventory Department.  This role maintains inventory records, enters receipts, produces inventory reports and complete reconciliations; keeping the department organized and ensuring that inventory counts are submitted on a timely basis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Inventory Responsibilities:
Enter and process credit memos in Dynamics software making sure all information is accurate.
Enter purchase orders in Dynamics software making sure all information is accurate.
Process of inventory purchase orders.
Process of packages, transfers, adjustments and other internal transactions.
Responsible for several Hudson sites in terms of processing month end reconciliation; comparing transactions and finding discrepancies.
Reports of the physical count are send to accounting department from sites at month end.
Accounting compares the physical count to inventory valuation report.
If variances are found accounting staff work with the person responsible to report inventory to accounting.
Make sure all variances are investigated and resolve.
Maintain inventory files & organized.
May be asked to assist in other areas of the finance department during slow periods.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: 
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or other related major preferred. 

Experience:
2-3 years of inventory experience a MUST.  Experience with Dynamics software preferred.

Skills:
Looking for a highly energetic individual with a positive attitude who can take initiative.  Must be detail oriented and be able to multi-task.  Must be computer literate and have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word and Excel.
