PLC / HMI Programmer

PLC/HMI PROGRAMMER

Primary function is PLC/HMI programming and to troubleshoot / modify reference programs for client applications. Ultimately, you will program on axis and off axis movement as well as the position of weld torches and the power to weld guns on a variety of equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design PLC and programs to customer specifications
• Debug and follow up the build and installation of the tooling
• Improves quality by tracking errors
• Conducts installation Line-Ups as needed
• Assists Deliverables to the customer (ship jobs)
• Perform Debug and start- ups on our floor and at the customers facility
• Maintains quality and standardization
• Follow project standards
• Attends group meetings
• Completes all other duties assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with HMI (FactoryTalk preferred) and PLC (Allen Bradley) platforms is required
• 3+ years of industry experience, specifically from automation, weld robotics and manufacturing
• Capable to read and write electrical diagrams, schematics
• Ability and willingness to travel (job travel typically not more than 10 times a year)
