Job Summary:
Gill Auto Group Madera at Gill Automotive Group is seeking a customer service-oriented Cashier to join our dynamic team. This full-time, hourly role will primarily be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and managing financial transactions in a fast-paced auto dealership setting. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work with a renowned dealership known for its high-quality services and products.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary of $16 to $19 per hour, depending on qualifications. In addition to a competitive pay package, we offer our employees a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and employee discounts on services and products.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers courteously and handle their inquiries with professionalism.
- Operate point of sale systems accurately.
- Process financial transactions, including cash and credit payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and inquiries promptly.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
- Assist customers in locating products and services.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Keep an updated record of all transactions and daily sales reports.
- Follow all legal and company policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Cashier or in a customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Familiarity with point of sale systems.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
