Job Summary
The Sign Maker is a professional, self-motivated team player with great interpersonal skills and values delivering excellence. The Sign Maker and installer is also detail-oriented, works well in a fast-paced team environment, and can efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously. Has the ability to resolve problems and overcoming problems that may arise in the field. The Sign Maker is self-confident and is not afraid to show their professional ability, creative genius, and most importantly, have fun
This person is expected to keep the production area safe, healthy, clean and organized

Job Type:
  1. Position: Sign Maker & Production Coordinator
  2. Job Level: Entry to Middle Level
  3. Primary Location: 60 Trade Rd. in Plattsburgh but not limited too.
  4. Starting Date: TBA
  5. Full time types Non-Exempt
Responsibilities
  • All aspects of Sign Shop production & installation.
  • Learn all technologies, skills, and techniques to become a better sign making professional
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing/production facility and equipment.
  • Accurately keep track of electronic and paper records related to jobs.
  • Consult/interface with Production coordinators or Clients.
  • Full-time availability (40 hours/week)
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a professional sign maker or Sign making, Craft, Carpentry or equal
  • Background in vinyl creation and application
  • Large format digital printing (HP365 latex)
  • Plotter Cutter (Graphtec FC9000-160)
  • Good Computer skill (our primary production software, Adobe Suite, Illustrator, Photo Shop, Onyx, Cutting master 4.5)
  • Basic Carpentry or Craft skills & tools
  • Valid Clean driver license.
  • Able to work in New York State
  • Background check
Bonus qualifications:
  • Vehicle wrap installation.
  • Knowledgeable in color management
  • Certified installation professional (3M, Avery, etc.)
