MINIMUM 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE AS A RIGGER.

Connect Staffing is seeking a well skilledRigger for a company that performs rigging along with world class testing and equipment rentals in the city of Wilmington, CA.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Requirements of a Rigger:

• Must have rigger experience within a construction related field
• Must have a strong understanding of wire rigging techniques and equipment
• Have excellent problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail.
• Prior experience as a Rigging Specialist, Industrial Rigger, Machinery Erection Specialist, and or Heavy equipment operator.

Responsibilities of a Rigger:

• Inspecting rigging equipment.
• Planning and preparing rigging operations.
• Erecting and assembling mobile cranes, including stabilizing the base, extending the boom, and attaching necessary rigging equipment for lifting operations.
•  Setting up temporary structures such as scaffolding, platforms, or support systems required for construction, events, or maintenance projects.
• Setting up and operating pulleys, ropes, winches, and other lifting gear
• Communicating with the construction team.
