Job Summary

National Bank of Coxsackie is looking for individuals with strong mathematical skills who enjoy interacting with customers A Teller is responsible for conducting customer transactions behind the teller line while delivering outstanding customer service. They will be responsible for answering the phones at the Branch and properly maintaining their drawer throughout the day. Initially, a teller will need to be available to work at any of our branch locations until placed.

Duties

  • Handle all normal teller duties and customer transactions. Example: deposits, withdrawals, etc.
  • Response to customer inquiries regarding their accounts and/or bank products.
  • Maintain money supply at window in accordance with accepted dollar levels.
  • With experience, fill-in for Head Teller absences.
  • Handle various platform assigned functions.
  • Assignment at any of our 8 branch locations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Assume various branch responsibilities as already understood within the bank's framework, and any other duties deemed necessary by management.
  • You will be required to work a minimum of two - three Saturdays per month or as needed.

Background Requirements

  • High-School diploma or equivalent educational background
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Interactive personality attributes
  • Ability to work with all bank staff.
  • Must have own reliable transportation and be able to work at any assignable location on a moment’s notice.
  • Personality must allow for oneself to fit in with all staff and customers regardless of work assigned location.
  • Must be able to learn other functions with minimal amount of training.
