Job Description

The registered nurse plans, organizes and directs hospice care and is experienced in nursing, with emphasis on providing life changing services at the end of life.  The professional nurse builds from the resources of the community to plan and direct services to meet the needs of individual and families within their homes and communities.  The hospice nurse is a pivotal individual to provide education to caregivers at the end of life. 

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.  Responsible for supervising aides and licensed vocation nurses.  Maintains a current CPR certification
